Homeowners Experience the Marked Improvement.

High Mark Construction is a “go-getter’s job.”

That’s the way our senior training specialist, Abby Claborn describes the way we avail ourselves to our teammates and the homeowners we work with. She says the work is challenging and fun, which are two of the hallmarks of our company culture.
“It’s all about personality and confidence. Anyone can make it here,” said Abby. And as we continue to grow into new markets, we’re looking forward to sharing HMC’s values and commitment to integrity with even more professionals. We emphasize education, training, and mutual respect.

In the last month, we’ve brought on five new people who are all in the midst of completing training at our White Marsh headquarters. Everyone brings their own unique flair to the team, which allows their individual personalities to shine. “We’re all super different but everybody finds their own niche,” said Abby, who’s been with us for almost three years.

Every day is different when you’re working at High Mark Construction. There’s no telling what the needs of our homeowners will be. However, what remains consistent is our comprehensive and honest approach to getting the job done right. Even homeowners who come visit any of our offices often remark on the vibe we’ve created in our space and how different our approach is when compared to other contractors.

“I’ve never worked at a business where they stand by everything,” said Abby. “I was terrible when I started. I had no idea what I was doing but the growth here is ridiculous.” Now, after multiple promotions, Abby cites HMC’s open-door policy and culture of transparency as two of the biggest reasons she’s been so successful. And it’s those principles that homeowners respond to the most when we’re out in the community.
